Pre-Clearing for Transporters

Regional Link, Beitbridge Border Clearing Agency and Professional Clearing have been working together on an effective pre-clearing package aimed at Transporters based in Johannesburg. The Aim of the package is for Linked Logistics to tailor a system with the transporter in order to get their trucks through the border post in the shortest possible time.

1. Preclearing simplifies the systems needed by the transporter with regards documentation and infrastructure at beitbridge.
2. Eliminates duplicating document sets for Zimbabwe consumption entries and Removal in Transit entries.
3. Consolidates our Freight, SA and ZIM clearing charges onto a single invoice to you. This includes RIT entries.
4. Produces quicker transit times at Beitbridge when we are used both sides of the border.
5. Allows quicker turn around times for transporters.

This is accomplished by a team of people from Linked Logistics meeting with the transporter and assisting them in installing the appropriate technology and knowledge to enable the efficient implimentation of the pre-clearing procedures.
